Kylie Jenner has inspired a social media craze called the ‘Kyle Jenner Challenge’. Although she didn’t start nor does she encourage it, the challenge is an attempt to emulate her lips. Teens on twitter and instagram, both boys and girls, are putting there lips in shot glasses and sucking the air out until the air vacuum causes their lips to swell up to double their natural size.
Under the hashtag, #kyliejennerchallenge, people post their results—some laughingly show off mildly plump lips, while others reveal lips that are shockingly swollen and distorted. While it all may seem like fun and games to some kids, the Kylie Jenner Challenge can result in bruises, scarring, permanent disfigurement, or serious cuts if the glass breaks while sucking the air out.
